Senior Associate, Financial Services Group

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of / experience in Capital Markets and products, Financial Engineering, Counterparty Credit Risk, Collateral, and Market Risk
  • Knowledge of how derivatives, commodities, equities, swaps, options, bonds, FX, Interest Rates work and their product variations as well as pricing & exposure calculations, analytics, and data requirements
  • Knowledge of / experience with Historic Simulation, VaR, VaR decomposition, Debt Specific Risk, Equity Specific Risk, Stress Testing, Mark to Market, Mark to Future, Exposure testing, and Model Calibration
  • Computer Science / Engineering background or experience in programming for analyzing datasets (e.g. SQL, VBA, or Python experience) is a strong asset
  • Experience with FIS Sunguard / Adaptiv is an asset
  • Experience in Requirements Gathering, Solution Design, and developing testing strategies is required
  • Required Education: Related University Degree
  • Preferred Education: University degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. CFA, FRM designations are an asset
